Things My Mother Said

She did, she said this all the time. My gran also did (obviously). I have no idea where they got it from, but I know other people who were told the same thing.

Click on the picture to see it bigger; I couldn't think of a way to split the page up neatly, sorry.

Hee hee! That's delightful. I've never heard the horns thing before. Where did your gran get that from? I'm going to start saying it to my nieces...

ooh this is great :) did you believe it for a while then ? did it stop you doing it ? i'd love a unicorn horn - but i've always fancied a nice swishy tail too - probably like my chinchillas have - that would be cool. have a good day.

I didn't believe it for a minute. This is the same woman who told me that watermelon pips would germinate in my stomach and the vines would grow out of my ears!

Hmm... a chinchilla tail. Nice!

my mum always said if i throw my nail clipings in the rubish some witch would find it and put a curse on me, she also said that if i sat on a pin or something it'll poke my heart and I'd die.

i think my mum made me fear quite a lot of things.
