Someone's been waiting very patiently for this day....And here's a slightly better photo for those of us who are actually interested in books - only slightly better, mind. It's a bad headache day today, and much as I tried to capture the sweetness of the spot varnish on the cover, I had to settle for this as the best shot.
It's all just a little bit unreal; I keep looking at the book, hoping it will sink in.
So cool!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. The book cover looks great and makes me want to look inside!
ReplyDeleteI never imagined you would ask again ;-)
ReplyDeleteOne day I hope to get to this point, well done.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! HUGE congratulations - what a special day. Can't wait to get my hands on one of those too!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you. Congrats :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm... No pain no gain. To celebrate the occassion have you considered getting 3 of your favourite pannels from the book tattoo'd in a strip across the lower half of your back? I would strongly recommend that you put a permanent marker down to remember this day.... memories fade but ink doesn't...
ReplyDeleteAwesome, well done on an actual published book. Superwow.
ReplyDeleteaw congratulations ! i really like the green - and your dog, he must be very proud... now go play with him :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats! How can one purchase a copy internationally? I am a huge comix fan - I used to read my brother's Beano and Metallica and then in college I took an Art History class focused on the history of cartoons - I was introduced to Art Spiegelman and Winsor Mckay and it's been love since then.
ReplyDeleteyay jesse! and a gorgeous green.
ReplyDeletewow!
ReplyDeletew00t!
