Another hat

Another hat from a McHats pattern, this time modeled by the faithful Evangeline. Although scarred by a stint as a cyberpunk doll in the mid-90s, she's still the best model I could wish for.

This hat is, if possible, even easier than the last one, with ingenious darts at the crown. I'm leaning towards the pink ribbon as trim, but green rickrack is also a strong contender.

Hm. Ric-rac conjures up a nice image. I loved making hats. I had a few I did up in vinyl- very go-go-era-esque. These hats you're making are charming.

You're doing well with your hats. Isn't this an easy pattern to make, I love it! It is so comfortable to wear.

It is easy! Not a lot of seams... I use lots and lots of pins, and I'm always expecting to have to undo at least some seams, but if you accept that as part of sewing, then it's easy. Sue from McHats also provides really clear instructions.
