Someone had to dress up for Valentines' day at school last week. Since Someone belongs to a rather frugal family, a 'new' outfit was made. Someone seemed pleased enough, but I imagine this isn't going to work all the way through to high school.
(A cushion cover with these same hearts is now in my
shop.)

Adorable! Kids will never like what you do by the time they're in high school. You know that, right?
Next year they could wear the knickers you made!
What a wonderful photo, so quietly touching. I really like that supporting arm coming down on the left side, the little hand holding the biscuit and the hearts on the little top.
I think Someone can be pretty glad that she has a relative like you! PS Congrats - I see your I Don't Like Chocolate comic book is featured on Etsy Finds today!
That's so cute! Yes, you are right. Teenagers do not like "homemade"! Ask me, I know! I was so shocked the other day. I made my husband two dress shirts years ago and thought he hated them, although he did wear them sometimes. The other day we were going through old photos and I heard him proudly tell the boys that that shirt was made by me! And how much he loved that shirt!
fantabulous!
no she will make her own in highschool ;)
i tagged you- if you feel like playing along, pop round mine for the details :)
