Etsy in South Africa

Local Etsy sellers, from left to right, top to bottom: Debger Designs, Manna Bath and Body, Scarecrow Organics, SnapClickTripod, Zoë Design, JKMillinery, Glass Roots Durban, Giggle Tree, Fresh Potatoes.*

The big news of the day is that we can now receive money via Paypal in South Africa! This should make life a bit easier for South African Etsy sellers and our customers.

We're not all Paypal-enabled yet, because bank accounts have to be opened and settings changed, but it shouldn't take too long. In the meantime, have a look at some of the things South Africans are selling on Etsy! Use the 'Shop Local' feature to search for shops, or the South Africa Etsy Team list.

(Read more about exactly what selling via Paypal from SA entails here.)

*All photos are by the sellers.

That is fantastic. It certainly makes the world a smaller place when we are able to order such gorgeous pieces as you featured from South Africa.
