Something like these, except that they should be new, not a couple of years old.
It's for the
Co/Mix exhibition at the Grahamstown Festival later this year.
Instead I'm printing fabric orders, with an occasional break to sit in a corner and sort of scream quietly.
It's been a while since I did anything like this kind of drawing; I'm (very hopefully) taking these as a starting point, without any clear idea where I'll end up.

Oh I feel ya in a big way and there is nothing kinky in that statement! I should be in the studio drawing my ass off, instead I'm having a mild anxiety attack about finding my little family a new home and at the same time catching up on 'paid' graphic design work *sigh. The life of an artist is never dull, at least we can say that...
Ohh Jesse, it can be so frustrating. I'm stuck in a rut. Looking after little ones and doing all the chores takes so much out of me, the last thing I want to do is print. I just scream really loudly when I can't take it anymore and they just hide from me! :P I love your drawings! The black and white really appeals to me.

I'm feeling a little in the weeds myself, so I can empathize. I remember when I first started reading blogs it seemed like there was a lot of griping about February, now maybe it's because I don't live in a cold, snowy climate, but I have nothing against the month. Now March, I'm not really liking much.
really nice to see your drawings again! Have missed them!
This 'don't cry' series is amazing. I really like the progression idea, and the girl's body language is so striking. Good luck with the Co/Mix work!
