Salvation

Printing with water-based ink means a lot of hand washing, usually in cold (icy!) water, several times an hour, every day. That means dry skin - not a trivial matter in winter, when you use your hands a lot, and they become too sore to do much with.

Cue: cheap home-made lotion. Beeswax and olive oil. I used this recipe. (And you could probably use it to polish your furniture too, if you like that kind of thing.)

Brilliant idea! And I so know your problem. Good gardener's balm too. And I think you could use it to polish boots.

I'll have to try this! My skin gets so super dry too and this looks so lovely.

This sounds like just the thing for my family - where did you find the beeswax?

Love the smell on furniture. Not sure I want to smell like that though!

I love this stuff! It makes great lip balm too if you make it a smidge on the waxy side.
