The Fringe Arts latest window exhibition 'For Sale: A House' launched on Monday 8 April at The Fringe on Kloof. An initiative of Jasper & George Furniture and Decor, the exhibition showcases a designer furnished double storey Cape Dutch house built to a scale of 1:10. Using only re-purposed materials, Jasper & George built the house as well as some of their signature furniture pieces to scale, and turned to fellow creatives to help them furnish the house further.
How could I not take part in this project?
I made masses of tiny scatter cushions, simply unable to choose the colour combinations I liked best,
and a squishy crocheted rug.
See how tiny!
Some of my cushions on the couch
and in the kids' room. The attention to detail is just lovely!
And yes, you really can buy this house! It's being advertised on Gumtree; show house viewings are organised daily at The Fringe on Kloof. Interested buyers can make an offer by responding to the ad, and transfer will take place on Monday 29 April. Proceeds of the sale will go to Rosie's Kitchen, a Khayelitsha-based charity that feeds over 250 kids daily.

SO cute those little cushions! And they look great in their setting.
What a fantastic project to be involved in - must've been a lot of fun creating those tiny cushions and that wonderful rug! I also love the wall transfer in the kids' room :)
