i am a vegetarian that eats sushi... a few years ago i had octopus and when i realized i was eating such an amazing creature, i felt like i was punched in the stomach. but i am not offended by the photo -- i had never seen an octopus beak before, and now i can say i have!

It is a very, very, beautiful object, but just the phrase 'octopus beak' makes me feel a little peculiar. So primordial, somehow. . .
