Obsessive embossing has taken hold! I bought some blank notepads a while ago, intending to print on them, but the covers are too glossy, so I did some embossing instead. If you'd like this one, leave a comment telling me... um, anything you'd like, really. I'll be away till Monday 9th, so I'll leave it open till then, and do a random draw on Monday evening.
I've been in negotiations with my favourite engineer about building a letterpress, with embossing in mind. I think it's just become a matter of urgency.
Well i stil owe you a little purse, but why not get in the give away, it goes on random numbers, and it is never my day...so i'm safe to leave a comment.

Very pretty! Interesting notebooks always have this magnetic effect on me... telling me to own them ... and play inside them with words...
ReplyDeleteHi, Jezze.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful (aren't some of the best projects the ones you didn't intend?).
Anyway,I'm on the last 2 pages of the notebook I'm using so the timing is perfect.

This is a lovely notebook. I also have been thinking about a letterpress.
ReplyDeleteLet me know how you go with the Press. I did a lot of research about tracking down a press in CT (or SA) for that matter. Most of my printing contacts thought I was quite mad (obviously not a resurgence of the printing method over here). The only company that does it locally got their press off a dump in Namibia!
ReplyDeletelove the embossing!
