A very cool shop in town will be stocking my brooches in a few weeks' time (more about that later) and I need to figure out how best to display them, preferably on something that can be hung from a hook. Then
Heather reminded me how nice tiny little envelopes are.
So this is my solution so far: a tag/envelope combo. I'm still trying to decide about the ribbon. And what exactly to print on the tags.
Huge thanks to
Print and Pattern for a lovely post about my ceramics! And thank you too to
Pink Parchment Soaps and
Paper Rose Designs for including them in some great treasuries, and to
Rainbow Storms for a mention on her blog!
Those little envelopes are great - I love tags with a message from the artist or even a small quote. I think packaging is so important just as imporatant as what is in it Enid
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love that print too :)

ReplyDeleteThese are GREAT! I love them! They make perfect presents wrapped and all. I think that using a Ebony and Ivory Persham instead of ribbon would beautiful. They have a variety of widths to chose from and the design are simple and great. You can also seal the ends so that it does not frey as the ribbon would.
ReplyDeleteThose look beautiful! Congratulations on all your success!
ReplyDeletethat is just so clever!

ReplyDeleteVery pretty indeed!
ReplyDeleteIt works really well making your brooches look very precious.
ReplyDeleteI love the packaging for the brooches Jesse. It's a great idea how you can hang them for display and then fold them over for purchase. Good luck with the new venture!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'd want to wear the brooch. I would put it in a shadow box and on my wall. Such AMAZING packaging. (A very belated thank you for the creative blogger award. I finally got things sorted out on my end. Grrr technical problems.)
ReplyDeletethese are lovely. designing packaging is so much fun. the little print inside makes it extra special.
ReplyDeletewhat about some kind of raffia or twine?
What lovely containers. I think with flaps on the side you could sell them as tiny gift boxes.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for the packaging. Love it!
