Just listed in my
shop: 2 brooches, blockprinted on gorgeously tactile vintage linen.
While on the subject of broochy-buttony things.... if you're even vaguely interested in knitting, have a look at this
incredible pattern from
Helene Magnusson. I haven't bought a copy for myself yet because I fear the kind of obsession it will spawn. I'll be covering cushions in buttons, making strings of buttons to hang in corners..... I must resist. For as long as possible (which won't be long at all).
(Oh, and she also designed this beautiful
cardigan!)
love the block printed buttons and cant wait to see the knitted ones!
ReplyDeletethe cardigan is very cool; are you planning on knitting it?
Gorgeous! I love linen. It really works with these.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link but please, don´t resist...
ReplyDeletebeautiful! - as always :-)
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful patterns...must take time to look better.
ReplyDeleteLove the link. And her work is incredible! Should connect my mum to this...
Oh my goodness, those designer buttons are fabulous! I just love the large button on the green little coat! One of these will look fabulous on my orange coat I am busy with. I am not good at intarsia knitting though. In fact, I suck at it! I cannot find a tutorial that nakes it easier either. I'll just watch your progress, once you buy that pattern! (And buy from you!)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Brooch!
ReplyDelete@Pinktulip: you´ll find a helpful tutorialon Icelandic intarsia on my website, in the SUPPORT section. :-)
