This block was meant for printing on fabric, but the repeat looked a bit too much like slices of pizza. I'll need to carve a few more, different sizes and shapes, to mix it up a bit. But it works rather sweetly on cards:
Now in my shop, in packs of six, to be used as postcards, note cards, sorry-I-broke-your-favourite-teacup cards.

I really love this block! It's funny that I saw this today. I was just going through old "inspiration" photos on my computer and was reminded that I wanted to explore embroidering from a photograph. This is kind of the block carving version of that, wouldn't you say? It's beautiful. I actually really like the block as an object.
