Printed Skirt

A skirt made using the seven-panel pattern, and fabric I printed. I think it's the first time I've used my fabric to make something for myself.

(It's a slightly wobbly speaker I'm standing on; the tripod is elsewhere, plans had to be made.)

I'm wondering about printing skirt panels for sale.... I might have to find a softer fabric, the cotton I used could be too stiff for some tastes. Then some test sewers, to make it in a few different sizes, perhaps a wrap skirt version too. I can't see all of this happening in a hurry, but it's tempting.....

  1. It's really cute! I think if you did all your testing/research/etc. and found just the right mix, you'd do well with a kit of sorts.

  3. Love both fabric and skirt -- I'd volunteer to be a tester too. Not of the wrap skirt though - I have several lovely ones I never get to wear because Cape Town wind + wrap skirt = massive potential for embarrassment.
