Last year I created a print for August, inspired by Indian block printed fabric. We printed it on silk and cotton.
This year, we used the same basic block to create a two-colour design.
Transparent blocks plus dvd-marking pens equals a very relaxing printing experience!
Jesse, take a minute (if you have one!) to go over to this blog and check out this block printing video. So gorgeous and I thought you'd love it

ReplyDeletebeautiful Jesse. The colors on the second photo are great together.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, delicate stuff. And your transparent block/dvd-marking pen method looks like a real printing-stress reliever!
ReplyDeleteYour 2 colour print is divine Jesse! And that colour combo is one of my favourites. Just out of interest, I was wondering in what way do people tend to use your printed tapes? I thought it would be lovely on the hem of a dress.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! I have some old Indian wood block stamps lying around, you have inspired me to play around with them.
