Zips aren't scary!

Not if you've had a whole weekend, lying flat on your back, felled by a tummy bug, to work out a strategy.

Hope you're feeling better!

And you're right! I just discovered how unscary zips are too, and have been on a skirt sewing frenzy as a result... hooray! You know what... button holes aren't scary either! ^_^

Hmmm... a tutorial on this one might be a bit embarrassing, revealing just how little I know about sewing. Certain members of my family would laugh themselves silly.

Being sick wasn't all that bad! I read an entire novel in one go :) We'll be at the market this Friday (there's a night market this week and next, from 6pm till 11pm) and yep, the purses will be there! Would love it if you came to say hello!

I want to come and say hello!

I hate all bugs. Today I'm not ill enough to stay in bed but too tired to actually do something. I promised to do some Christmas shopping for my dad, who for various reasons won't be able to buy things for my mom and keep them as a secret. Looks like there won't be any rain today, so I'll try to go shopping although I'd rather read a novel, too.

I think zippers are scary. I used to be fine with them, but I haven't sewn much for years. I need to sew so many zippers before Christmas that I'd better start practicing right now!
