Want a notepad?

Obsessive embossing has taken hold! I bought some blank notepads a while ago, intending to print on them, but the covers are too glossy, so I did some embossing instead. If you'd like this one, leave a comment telling me... um, anything you'd like, really. I'll be away till Monday 9th, so I'll leave it open till then, and do a random draw on Monday evening.

I've been in negotiations with my favourite engineer about building a letterpress, with embossing in mind. I think it's just become a matter of urgency.

And, oh, I should tell you... um, something. But I can't think of anything. Go figure.

Have a great weekend! :-)

Your designs are so great! I'd love to know how you cut such delicate details out of such thick book board! It must just be patience, perseverence and lots of talent!

I received my order last week, and I have to tell you they are even more breathtaking in person! Thank you! And of course I'd like to have more of your work in my house!

Total Fabulous-ness.

Did I mention before that I might actually be drooling over these lovely blind-embossed leaves? It's true ...

This embossing idea is so clever.
Of course you still have to be talented enough to make a pattern for it. The leave work v well.

Saying just something is difficult with the lovely work.
So just, lovely.

Negotiate about that letterpress...would be cute to discover this new working brunch.

Very pretty! Interesting notebooks always have this magnetic effect on me... telling me to own them ... and play inside them with words...

Hi, Jezze.
This is beautiful (aren't some of the best projects the ones you didn't intend?).
Anyway,I'm on the last 2 pages of the notebook I'm using so the timing is perfect.

This is a lovely notebook. I also have been thinking about a letterpress.

Let me know how you go with the Press. I did a lot of research about tracking down a press in CT (or SA) for that matter. Most of my printing contacts thought I was quite mad (obviously not a resurgence of the printing method over here). The only company that does it locally got their press off a dump in Namibia!
