Bits

The field near our house was recently levelled with topsoil - or, put another way, rubble from a building site was dumped there and spread out before it could be removed. Not so great for the soccer players, dog-walkers, and moms with toddlers who use the field, but pretty good if you like finding bits and pieces of patterns.

Very fun! Lucky you!
I love to search for beach glass when I visit the beach, that field sounds like the same kind of fun!
You might enjoy this book: A passion for sea glass / text by C.S. Lambert ; photographs by Amy Wilton. Precious treasures to the finder! Thanks for sharing!

I love these, you can't help wondering whose they were and about the kitchen they came from.By the way dig the shirt too.

I love the bits of pottery. I live near a beach where a china company for many years dumped its imperfect wares. I once found a tiny Buddha's head there, though I can't imagine that they were making Buddhas...
