Miniatures


Lichen growing on the tops of fence posts in Stilbaai; a five-minute walk turned into a lengthy exploration of alien landscapes.

These photos (and the mosaic you made of them) are beautiful! I often disregard the small things, sometimes not even noticing them. I am going to look out for miniatures this weekend. It is one way of meditating, I think ...

I find lichen fascinating. We've just had a whole lot come down to earth with all the tree felling in the top of our garden!
