Repeat, printed

A print I designed for Alexandra Hojer, using my 'sprigs' block, live and in the flesh and made up into beautiful clothes, at the Biscuit Mill market.

(Edited: I didn't mean to imply that I printed all the fabric for Alex myself; I set up a repeat using the block I'd carved, and it was silk screened by a local printer.)

I love Alexandra's clothing! One day I will own something of hers.

I look forward to seeing this print in her shop. You poor thing printing all that - but I think the end result is worth it. :) I hope that you are putting your feet up now and sipping a cup of tea. It looks like it was a lot of work.

Very impressive. The time it took will not be known or matter to many - and less likely to a buyer. That is really not the point. The point is in the variations, subtle texture - and even the little slip-ups - that add up to a certain quality no machine or assembly line can reproduce. People don't pay for the time it took you - they pay for the particular results. I'm glad you've found an audience for your efforts.
