Small-scale embroidery

I spent a few fun hours this weekend playing around with printed fabric scraps, a badge maker, and needles and thread.

Great embroidered buttons! I bought one of those buttons that one can cover at a craft shop the other day - and covered it with black lace for a dress that I turned into a kind of coat-thingie by cutting the front open. Oh, it sounds very complicated but anyway, what I wanted to say is that I am starting to dislike the button immensely - it just doesn't look right, so I am thinking of doing an embroidered one - but can one get the top off once you have snapped it shut? I guess I should just go back to the craft shop and buy another one ...
PS Congrats on the mentions! And BTW you are in Prince Albert's library too! I took a pic and will send it to you as soon as I get myself organised!

These are really cool, Jesse! I don't embroider often, but I agree with you, it is fun and soothing to spend a few hours doing it.
