More Hearts!

But they're so nice to draw...
Other new prints: Tangles in pink and olive green:

More sewing hearts:

And this block, which I cut to overprint another design, but had to try out by itself.

Some of these have been listed in my shop already.

I've been crunching numbers (yum yum) and reading interesting posts. It does seem to be time to review my prices with a very critical eye. I tend to calculate costs rigorously, and then look at the price and think "I'm not sure I can afford that." With handmade products, most of my costs are payment for my own time. So I shave a bit off here and there, and come up with something that seems okay and not too outrageous.

Now if I sold every single thing I made immediately, that would work out fine. But it doesn't really happen that way.

I'll be raising my prices on the 15th of February; shipping costs will stay the same, and I'll do my best to keep things affordable for the likes of you and me. Right! More yummy numbers!

You are so justified in putting your prices up. They've been so cheap for a long time now. Your work is meticulous and takes a long time to produce so the price has to reflect that. Just go for it!

I posted about this issue just the other day. I believe that there are people out there who appreciate handmade and all that goes into producing such items- of course, this doesn't make the decision any easier, but your designs are beautiful and I'm sure that a price hike will not put true textile lovers off from purchasing your goods.

These new prints are beautiful. I LOVE Tangles and the hearts (at the top) almost appear to pulse. Lovely!

I think you are right about raising prices. I have been mulling this over myself. It is a very difficult decision. LOVE the scribbles on olive!!

I've raised some of my prices in January - just of the stuff that I intend to continue doing. It's really important to put the right value on your handmade items. They are unique and you need to make a living. Congrats!
