Joy Shapes

New socks: Weaverknits' free pattern New Boots & Contracts. As my boyfriend pointed out, they match the cover of Charalambides' Joy Shapes. So is this a new challenge, to knit socks that match album covers? Could be....

(I bought a bag of scraps of sock yarn at - yep!- the secondhand shop. Then I bought a few balls of black sock yarn to make the scraps go further. So as long as the album covers are predominantly black: endless fun.)

Great socks and an interesting challenge! Will you be on the lookout for album covers to match your yarn collection or the other way around?

Love these socks! They look so comfy. I love the subtle striping, with the bolder stripes on the toes and the heel flaps. What kind of yarn? Is it cotton?

Thanks! I used plain woollen sock yarn.
