Autumn

These new blocks require much more careful inking than my usual ones. Still some tweaks to make, but everything's more or less working.

And for the printers, (because I know you need to know!) here are the blocks:

I was planning to have these prints up in my new South African online shop this weekend, but I haven't managed to make any headway with that. Instead, I'll have them up in my Etsy shop early next week.

very cool prints! I finished my first stamp this week. Only two total stab wounds to my fingers overall. =)

I love seeing your blocks. I've done a wee bit of lino printing, and I still do, now and then, but nothing as complicated or elegant as you. I've never thought about putting the blocks on a clear backing, that must help with lining up patterns, eh?

where do you get the backings?

The backings are just bits of perspex/acrylic sheet that I picked up at the art shop. Apparently painters use them for palettes. I would have preferred clear ones, but this is all they had. Hunting for a consistent supply, now!

They look beautiful! Did you start with a 12"x 12" block? Do you blot ink it or roller ink it? They are just lovely and so inspiring!

Beautiful as always, I'm glad someone is as obsessed with leaves as me.
I love the fabric colours too, very autumnal :-)

Thank you!

Anja, I roller ink over my blocks, which is why I had to be so careful with these. Blotting might go faster, so I'll give it a try!
