Busy Week

My fingers are sore! In the last week I've done these two drawings for the CoMix exhibition:

Does it hurt?

It can happen.

Also a book cover and 96 drawings for a school book. I'll be taking a day off to, I don't know, sort through my yarn stash or something.

Oh wait. I have to clean the house first. Bleh.

Really dramatic drawings, interesting subject matter. Do you use a graphics tablet for these or do you work with traditional pen/ink?

These are fantastic! I particularly like the sprouting hair with rooty tips... and all that solid black, too.

Are these small drawings?

96 drawings? Holy cow. And I know just what you mean - sometimes house-cleaning can be a form of work procrastination, but then there are the times when work takes all-encompassing priority and house-cleaning has to wait (for when you're good and tired, and in need of something far less mundane). On the plus side, once it's done you can feel super virtuous.

Lovely drawings - quirky and fun! I'm sure they'll go down really well.

Great work Jesse! Moving-meditation indeed (in the drawing of the 'hair' of both... beautiful!). Love the mop-inspiration photo, and hope the house-cleaning was quick and painless :)

those are superb and interesting! I like very much to see where you get the inspiration (the mob!!).
