Ribbons Galore!

So that's what 1km of ribbon looks like. Not, apparently, something schnauzers want to play with!

To mark this milestone (kilometrestone?) I'm giving away some printed ribbon - either 5 metres of any print of your choice from my shop, or a few bundles of offcuts, like these:

Some of the pieces are 50cm long, some are only 20cm, and there's everything inbetween.

To enter, leave a comment telling me which you'd like, the offcuts or the longer piece, and what you'd do with it. I'll draw 2 random winners on Tuesday the 17th. (*edit: more than happy to ship overseas!)

Also - turns out I've been blogging for 6 years! Phew! When I started, I was using dial-up....

Your ribbon is really beautiful. I would love to be the owner of some offcuts. I think I would use them for to decorate note books. They would also make great book marks. So many possibilities.

I would love to win the offcuts. Your patterns are so modern and beautiful! I'd love to use them as trim for baby dresses.

Offcuts would be smashing!

I'd love some of the off-cuts too! I'd put them together and make some bags, also as decoration on cushions!

Hi Jesse,

What pretty colours and patterns. It makes me think of summer. I'd measure the ribbon, trim, stitch elastic to either end of one piece of ribbon and have pretty headbands for summer!

Congrats on 6 years of blogging! Time flies when you're having fun :)

I'm going to say the offcuts! All of your ribbon is beautiful. I love the grey and orange flowers, and the pink and grey seedheads. I would make headbands and keychain fobs, and maybe a decorative dog collar for my pups!

Nice!! I'd love the offcuts. I'd make more hair-things for my nearly 5 y.o. daughter. She needs some cheering up after the stunts her father keeps pulling on her :-(

I'd be thrilled with either, and would probably use it to decorate pockets on the dresses I'll make for my grand-daughter, or to edge pillowcases, or tea cosies ...

Yay! Congrats on 6 years, Jesse!

And.. here's a Danish kilometersten (stone). You know, just because. ;-)

I was planning to say the longer piece but how do you choose so I will also go for the off cuts.

I will use it in a quilt of cushions...

They are all stunning. Well done Jesse!

Congratulations! Indecision wins with me, I'd love a bunch of bits. I would use some to line the button bands of sweaters if I ever finish knitting them. Thanks!

I love your new style of colors and patterns coming out. It seems different than just a year ago. How we evolve.... I'd love the off cuts. Lately my 4 year old and I have been wrapping ribbons around glass jars and making them into fancy vases for flowers. She CAN'T stop picking flowers. =)

Congrats on both achievements! Your ribbons are all so beautiful, but I think I would go with the 5m bundle, your chickweed print in red or grey, or perhaps the king protea in royal blue! They are all so wonderful it would be hard to choose!

Your work is so inspirational - I love the prints and would love a longer piece of ribbon for a quilting project. BTW are you producing any more prints on quilting weight cotton fabric? Best regards, Diana

I have recently found your blog and love your pattern work. I thought it would be fun to mix and match strips (kinda Kaffe Fassett style) and make a strippy cushion or two. I love your fun colouring

Beautiful! The offcuts would be fun to decorate a plain white lampshade that needs some sprucing. Not sure if you're able to mail to the US though (costwise).

I'd like the offcuts. Sometimes one can get lovely rolls of ribbed wrapping paper from Cardies in single colours (no patterns), and your ribbons would work wonderfully with these for wrapping presents.

Good for you with keeping up the blogging all these years. Thank goodness the days of dial-up are over!

Congratulations on you blog anniversary. Wow, six years, that makes me a rookie!
I would like the longer piece to trim of the bags I make. (That is, if you ship to the Netherlands....)
I love you blockprints very much, especially the fact that you really use the technique of printing over the previour block.

Nice chance, Jesse, thanks so much! I would ask for the brown&blue and/or the yellow&gray poppies ... the more poppies the merrier. I would add it as a trim to the quilted, insulating curtains I am adding to my studio. Take care, Fulvia.

I love your ribbons. I wouldn't mind the long length or the off cuts. If I absolutely HAD to choose a long length from all of your gorgeous options, it would be the Pink and Grey Seedheads.
Hmmm...if had offcuts, I would use them for hang-loops...on tea towels or towels or jackets or dressing gowns or keys - where every I could make sure that it would be visible. I want to see the beauty and not hide it!!

A long length...hmmm...maybe use lengths to embellish a gift or trim the hem of a skirt for me (never do anything for me!!)

Oh - and I would have to share it with my mum in PE...goes without saying...spreading the joy :)

I spied the brown and black ribbon in the offcut photo and raced to your Etsy shop to see if it was included there (and it's not).

So offcuts please.

And I'd take them either to my work lunchtime art group to use as a challenge piece one week, or donate them to the reallybigroadtrip bus, which we've just funded (http://www.reallybigroadtrip.com/)

Oooo, a length of Blue & Brown Poppies please! I'll be using them for tie-backs and trim for new curtains in our new house - they'll look gorgeous at the lake dahling ;-)
Congrats on being a blog veteran!

Offcuts! I'd like to sew them all together to make a cushion maybe.
Congratulations on six years blogging! Wow, what a real achievement. I'm coming up on five, how did that happen!

I'd love a longer piece. I'm expecting my first baby and am busy making all sorts of things a baby needs. I'm printing a lot of the fabric myself - which I learned how to do by reading your blog!

I think I would use your ribbon as a tie for the travel changing pad I'm making.

Thanks!

Six years!? Happy Bloggiversary Jesse!

Love all your ribbon designs but pushed to choose:
red(or orange) and gray flowers or yellow proteas or yellow (or gray) leaves are all lovely... oh or the chocolate flowers... : ) !
I'd be happy with offcuts or a long length and I would use them to make a handmade book or two. : )
Such a lovely offer, thanks!
