Gingham? Check? Plaid?

Something blocky and stripy, anyway. I wanted to print the koeksister block in some sort of grid pattern, and even planned it in advance, but it didn't work out quite right.

The second attempt, slightly better, but still not exactly what I wanted.

On the third attempt, I worked it out!

Printing with blocks is like thinking aloud. I just can't seem to do it in my head.

Jesse, it looks fabulous. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who needs to work visually! Thanks for sharing.

Oh, and the little dresses and simply divine.

Good that things work out well on 3rd attempt. I tried numerous of time when mucking around at silk screen experimenting too. That said, nothing beat your attention to detail..I still have to salute you on that one! X
