Read my mind

If you're ever curious to know what I'm thinking, just go to my Pinterest board. It's where I spend most of my online time these days.

It's easy to feel overwhelmed by all the pretty pictures online. I very quickly start losing a sense of what I really do like; the more white doilied pastel interiors I see, for instance, the more I start thinking that perhaps I like them. Pinterest has cured this problem. It's more than a nice way to collect images: now, when an image grabs me, I find myself wondering whether it would fit on my pinboard. Often, it won't, and I don't keep it.

I'm getting a sense of what I like and why I like it.

Got sent an 'invite' thingy a while back, but never set it up. Neatly left it on the 'am-interested-but-let's-put-it-on-the-to-do-list-for-later'category. You've inspired me to give it another go, but only after I cover my real-life moodboard with fabric (today, darn it!). Am scared now though, am I going to be hooked on yet ANOTHER distraction? :)

I love Pinterest! I haven't quite made it a habit to use it though. I'll have days when I remember that I should use it and I'll pin a bunch of stuff, but the next day I just forget. Your boards are really nice, I'm happy to be following you :)
