That's what I meant!

This is what I wanted the stencil to look like! This time it's a block print, and I've taken the design backwards a bit, more towards the original rubber stamp I made. The way a stencil is cut is so different to the way a lino block is cut, it seemed to make sense to take the marks into consideration.

A miscalculation somewhere means that repeating the wedge all the way round doesn't result in the tight circle I planned, but some overprinting helped. Another block is needed to fill in the gaps.

And here's another pic, just in red, because it's so pretty!

The red is very pretty... but I like the pale blue and red combo too. They're both beautiful!

Oh this is just gorgeous! I did love the stenciled one too! Is this one the same size/as big as the stencil?

Jesse, this looks great. You give inspiration. I also have to do some blockprinting again. But I think it will take me a while. Because I just got my Gocco-printer and have to experiment with that first. Keep up the good work.

can i have dibs on acquiring this? i adore everything about it. everything. the motif, the colours, the fact that it overlaps. everything.
