Ready to go!

Getting work ready for the Nest show at Curious, Whetstone and Frankley next week. I love the tangled, Tord Boontje-like mess of the transfers at this point; I'm tempted to dump them onto a plate, just like that. Can anyone tell me if it's okay to overlap transfers?

I love the way they look all jumbled together. Can't wait to see the final results.

I think the overlapped look would be great. I love the jumbled look.

i have no idea if you can overlap transfers, but wow, it looks like so much fun! and i'm jealous, as you make pattern-making/illustration look so easy, while i struggle with a pattern idea for the swatch swap... arg!

i'm looking forward to seeing the finished pieces.

i use transfers on enamel jewellery and its always advised not to overlap them. its got something to do with the thickness that can adhere to the glaze underneath and if its too thick it doesnt work??? who knows, id be keen to know if it works if you try it out....
