Colouring Fun!

Remember these paper dolls? Well, isn't it about time they had some new dresses?

I've put large versions of these on my Flickr page, for printing out and colouring in. Go on, indulge your inner textile designer.

I think I will indulge my inner child more than my inner textile designer. Do you think that will be a problem? ;)

So your birthday's on the 8th, huh? Mine's on the 2nd. Age-wise, you beat me by a year.
I like the doll's grumpy face, and her hair - great shine effect!

Hi J. Would you mind if I use them in some of my paintings? I am busy making a series of collages with paper dolls as the theme and have some great ideas of incorporating them. Thanks. Deirdre

Wow, those paper dolls will have some beautifully printed dresses! Do you have some new 3-d world print ideas brewing with these too?
Love the flowers with the anthers so pretty!

Wow, Jesse, this brings back so many memories! My sisters and I had many of these paper dolls. I can't remember exactly, but I think they came in a book format with a whole wardrobe. I also seem to remember they had names. A year or so ago, I saw something so similar at CNA, I almost bought it! Imagine playing with paper dolls at my age! (Just like I STILL want a real old-fashioned Rag Doll! And a large Doll House. All the things I wanted as a kid, but just never got for Xmas.)

Oh, Jesse - this is SO great! I printed out (a long time ago) your Cross Little Paper Doll, coloured in the dress and positioned her in my kitchen window looking out at the neighbour's building operations. Then the dress got bleached in the sun, and the neighbour stopped building (for some weird reason), and I took the doll down and put her away. But last week the building started again and now the walls that will obscure our view are finally going up - I feel like crying, and childish as it may seem, I've been wanting to take out the Cross Little Paper Doll and make her scowl across the 6 feet that now separate our houses. I think she will be pleased to have a new dress!!
