Printing like a pro

Printing up sample packs of my favourite prints got me thinking about printing in quite a different way. A shockingly disciplined way, actually. This is fabric (and ink) I have a decent stash of.

So why not print them up for the shop, too, a bunch at a time, and attempt to have them - always in stock? It's a lot simpler than printing on a whim, on gorgeous colours that I can never get hold of again.

(Though I'll try to do that too. And some new designs. This disciplined printing seems to have given me some time tomorrow to draw up a design that I've had in my head for weeks. We'll see; I might have jinxed that time just by mentioning it.)

Hi J. I saw the lovely Yardwork stamps on your blog and just have to have one. Ordered it last night on Etsy. I am so gratefull for Paypal in SA, at last we can do fast, easy online shopping. Love your prints. D

Jesse - I always think you print like a pro anyway - but I can see what you mean - good idea to have some fabrics always available in your shop.

Beautiful ink color! Printing ahead could be a really great way to go for you. But, I definitely agree with you on still doing shorter runs of more hard-to-get colors. Love seeing them all together!
