In a bid to speed up my printing, I'm cutting multiples of my basic blocks, and sticking them to perspex in a grid formation. Hopefully I'll be able to print four times faster than I am now. Can you imagine?
(Some sort of efficiency explosion in my brain gave me the idea of printing the blocks onto new lino for cutting. Instead of drawing each one four times. It's shaping up to be a good year already.)

Hi Jesse, I'm a block printer from the UK, I was just about to try this technique after the long slog of printing 252 little bullfinches on a curtain. I really get lost in the the monotony of repeat motif printing but there are limits! I've not tried large multiple blocks yet so please let me know how you get on I'd be really interested. There are definitely limits - somewhere around the point where I start thinking that I'd never be able to charge enough to cover the time, usually! I'd love to see the curtains, though.
I've only just started printing with these, and I'll post about it soon. It does save time, though lining up each block takes a little longer as there seems to be more to check. So it's not as easy to get lost in the printing!
