Look what you can do with a bit of perspex and some foam shapes! Research suggests that I should get my hands on sticky-back foam and tiny scissors, but for now contact adhesive and nailscissors will do. It doesn't look like I'll be able to get the kind of detail I could get with a stencil, but maybe I just need to practice cutting. Even with those limitations, though, it looks like a really good way to add colour to linoprints.

I used a roller and screenprinting ink, but an ink pad would work well.

Very nice. I love any dots on fabric! Another cheap alternative are the bags of pre-cut self-adhesive foam shapes you get in craft shops. Some are not self-adhesive. Or you can use shaped punches to cut perfect shapes from sheets of foam, also at craft shops. Did lots of this when I was doing scrapbooking.

This pattern/design - and colour - looks great! The slight unevenness of the circles works excellently too. Such fun.
